Can non-Christians attend camp? Will I feel comfortable? Yes, everyone is welcome! SBC looks at topics of Christianity and spiritual life, but we encourage all perspectives and backgrounds to join the discussion. We also highly emphasize a open, loving community where all people are accepted regardless of difference.
Are there medical staff on site? Yes, there is an actively registered nurse or EMT on duty 24-7.The nurse will cover daily medications, injuries, sickness and more. In case of a serious emergency, campers will be taken to the Seneca Healthcare District (Chester Hospital) located close to our campus.
Do I need to come with a youth group or organization? No, SBC does not require any sort of group registration. Campers are encouraged to meet new friends and become a part of the camp family. If you want to bring your youth group, we are happy to have you join us. The more the merrier!
I want to come, but I can't afford the cost. What should I do? We do not want cost to prevent anyone from attending SBC, so we offer "camperships" to assist with cost. If you are interested in receiving a campership, please contact our director Judy Bates at (650) 941-3919 or email [email protected]. If you would like to donate to help make camp available to more campers, please visit the Donate button under Registration. Thank you!
